Dr Roberto Mazza

Dr Roberto Mazza is Lecturer in History at the University of Limerick and Research Associate at SOAS. His research interests include Palestine in the transitional period from the Ottomans to the British with a particular focus on the period of World War One, urban history and violence in the urban context with a special interest in Jerusalem.

Roberto is the author of Jerusalem From the Ottomans to the British (I.B. Tauris, 2009) and edited Jerusalem in World War I: The Palestine Diary of a European Diplomat (I.B. Tauris, 2011). Roberto has also published a number of articles in various journals and several in the Jerusalem Quarterly.
