Dr Abigail Shinn

I am currently a teaching fellow at the University of Leeds. I have previously published on Edmund Spenser and popular culture, William Painter’s Palace of Pleasure, and Gammer Gurton’s Nedle and cultures of mending. My current book project is titled Conversion Narratives in Early Modern England: Tales of Turning. My research interests include Edmund Spenser, early modern popular culture, prose, rhetoric and conversion.
